Last week in the MTC
This week has been good! Our district left on Tuesday - so there are just three of us sisters left. Pretty sad, but we're enjoying visitor centre training. We went to Salt Lake City on Wednesday and it was GREAT. We went to some of the sights and the spirit was so strong. I feel so blessed. Heavenly Father knows us. He knows exactly where we need to be and when. We've been getting trained to do the chats on mormon.org - we literally get to speak to people ALL around the world. Isn't that incredible? I am now a Sister Training leader, we look after the new district. It has been great to welcome them. We even wrote them a song haha!
I have discovered how much we need to use personal revelation - yesterday we had to prepare lessons for people that we obviously hadn't met before. I was like, how on earth can we know their needs?! Me and Sister Parton prayed and we got the answer to what we needed to teach. Funnily enough, when the investigator came in, it was exactly what they needed. It's incredible - the spirit guides us in EVERYTHING we do. Just pay attention to those promptings. Worldly distractions are a definite reason they get blocked out or ignored sometimes. There are 14 of us heading out to St George on Wednesday. I'm excited for this next chapter to begin 😃

Week 2, singing, Salt Lake City and more
This week has been good. I am the music co-ordinator in my Branch. We're performing the EFY medley this week at church as a district, I'm really excited. On Tuesday we had a devotional by Brother Zwick and his wife, it was on the atonement and afterwards as a district we had a testimony meeting. It was so powerful. And I literally love these people so much. It pains me that they leave in 3 days. And I'm not one for making friends super fast but you can't help it! I got my flight plans yesterday and I leave here April the 29th. I have received so many sweet letters, it's nice to have the support of family and friends.Yesterday a group of us got to take a trip to Salt Lake City and have a tour and visit the temple. It was incredible. The Lord provides me with comfort EVERYDAY. Ask Him for help, He wants to help and never feel like you're not good enough. The Lord is on our side, we're the stronger ones. Stand up for what you believe. These words have brought me comfort - HE KNOWS EACH AND EVERYONE OF US PERSONALLY.I love my nieces and nephews so much. Miss not being able to have cuddles haha. Also, I have joined the choir and just in exciting news, the BYU mens choir came and sang to us on Sunday, it was incredible. It was sooooo good!

One week down and a lot more to go!
I'm absolutely loving it here in the MTC. I feel like I have learnt so much already, we're only a few days in. It's been incredible and weirdly I don't feel the need to check my Facebook all the time. I'm glad my phone broke! My companion is awesome. Has such a positive attitude. She's from Australia so people come over and love that she's from there and I'm from England, we're feeling very loved!I am so in love with the people in my district already. They all have such wonderful testimonies and we've already had so many wonderful moments together. The spirit can be pretty overwhelming, but in a good way!
I loved General conference. I felt like when I was listening, it could all be applied to me. Maybe that's because I'm in the mindset of a missionary. I feel like I'm one of the oldest ones here. Girls are all super young and boys are definitely all under 20! But when we talk about the Gospel, it's all the same. We're heading to the temple this afternoon, we're going to do an endowment as a district so we can say some prayers together in the celestial room. I am SO happy to be here. THE CHURCH IS TRUE. Heavenly Father know's us and places people in our path for a reason. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have of it's truthfulness. I know my purpose! And 18 months isn't that long.My days are pretty standard because we have such a set routine. But it's good, keeps me busy and surprisingly 6:30 isn't too bad hahaa!
